Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 16, 2026

Your privacy is important to Swain & Baldwin, Inc. This Privacy Policy explains how the Tenant Content Coverage Program (“the Program,” “we,” “us”), administered by Swain & Baldwin, Inc. on behalf of participating property owners, collects, uses, and protects personal information when you enroll in and use the Program. It applies to this website and the enrollment, account, billing, and claims services offered through it. In keeping with Title V of the Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act (GLBA), this notice describes the practices and standards we have adopted to protect the confidentiality of your nonpublic personal information.

Information we collect

  • Enrollment details — your name, email address, mailing address, unit number, and the property and coverage tier you select.
  • Account information — login credentials and any contact details you add or update in your account.
  • Payment information — billing is processed by Stripe. Stripe collects and stores your card details directly; we do not receive or store full card numbers.
  • Claims information — the descriptions, photos, receipts, and other documentation you submit when you file or correspond about a claim.
  • Underwriting information — information you provide on applications or forms, about your transactions with us, and, where applicable, information we receive from the carrier or a consumer reporting agency for the purpose of underwriting your coverage.
  • Technical information — basic device and usage data (such as IP address and pages visited) collected automatically to operate and secure the site.

How we use your information

We use the information we collect to:

  • issue, administer, and renew your coverage;
  • process payments and manage billing through Stripe;
  • receive, review, and resolve claims;
  • communicate with you about your policy, account, and claims;
  • operate, secure, and improve the website and Program; and
  • meet our legal, regulatory, and insurance-compliance obligations.

How we share information

We share personal information only as needed to run the Program: with the licensed insurance carrier that underwrites your coverage, with the property owner or manager for your participating community, and with service providers who act on our behalf — such as Stripe (payments), our email provider, and our hosting and customer-management platforms. We may also disclose information when required or permitted by law, or to protect the rights, safety, and property of residents, the Program, or others.

We do not sell or market your nonpublic personal information.

It is your choice to share information

If you prefer that we not disclose nonpublic personal information about you to nonaffiliated third parties, you may opt out — that is, you may direct us not to make those disclosures (other than disclosures permitted by law). To opt out, contact us at admin@contentscoverage.com, and include your full name, address, and policy number(s) along with your direction that we not share your information with nonaffiliated third parties.

How we protect and retain it

We restrict access to nonpublic personal information to those who need it to provide products or services to you, and we maintain physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards designed to protect your information. We retain personal information for as long as you remain enrolled and afterward as needed to meet legal, tax, accounting, and insurance-recordkeeping requirements.

Children's privacy

The Program is intended for adults enrolling in coverage for their household. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. Material changes will be communicated as required by law.
